faqWhat are the tax advantages of companies leasing furniture and appliances? Under section 51(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act, rental payments made for furniture or appliances under an operating lease are fully tax deductible as a business expense. What is available to rent? We have an extensive range of furniture, electrical appliances and home wares. What is the minimum and maximum rental period? The minimum rental period is one month, however, we are happy to collect the furniture before the end of the month, should the items no longer be required. There is no maximum rental period. Can I purchase the furniture and appliances? Yes you can. Our rental agreements are indefinite, which means that you have no right or obligation to purchase items rented. However, every customer can make an offer to purchase any item at the end of any period. We can decide to either accept or to refuse you offer. We are, however, more than happy to discuss your offer with you, so phone us when you are ready to do so. Can I change the furniture and appliances? Yes you can. However, you may be required to pay a re-delivery fee. What will happen if an item breaks down? If there are maintenance or service problems we will either repair the item on site or replace the item as soon as possible. Maintenance and service is FREE for normal wear and tear. How can I pay? Either use a deposit slip at any branch of the Bank of Queensland, pay via credit card or use internet banking EFT. What happens to my bond? Where a bond has been paid, it will be retained for the duration of the agreement and it will be refunded upon termination of renting, providing that you have complied with all the terms and conditions of the agreement. We will be entitled to deduct any monies due to us. Are there any account keeping fees? No, there are no hidden charges.
